Research and Development Committee and Research Community.

 

 

Dr. Chad W. Euler, Ph.D., is a Assistant Professor at
Hunter College, Medical Laboratory Sciences Department
Design and Teach Clinical Microbiology lecture and lab courses
Current research involves two major projects:
Understanding the role that lysogenic bacteriophages play in bacterial pathogenesis by
elaborating on how integrated viruses influence disease symptom, severity, or tissue
tropism.
Designing bacteriophage lytic enzymes for novel treatments of bacterial infections such
as Clostridium difficile, Streptococcus pyogenes, and MRSA, while evaluating
antimicrobial efficacy in both in vitro and in vivo models.
